At the church, located at 11517 Genesee Street, Alden, an average of 16 volunteers and Rev. Joshua Vogt organize and host a community clothes ministry and food pantry the third Saturday of each month from 9 am until noon.
Originally the clothing ministry was begun by Sue Evick and former pastor, Rev. David Grainge, to assist those residing at the BryLin facility. When that facility closed, it was decided to open the Clothes Closet to the public. From the first 8 visitors in 2010, the ministry has continued to grow.
