The Snovember snow storm cost the Village of Alden approximately $88,000 for snow removal, with an additional $14, 000 to $15,000 for other storm-related expenses. Mayor Manicki met recently with representatives from FEMA regarding submitting expenses for possible reimbursement. If the total storm-related costs reach a minimum threshold region-wide, Alden and other municipalities will be eligible for federal aid to reimburse some outlays.
