Horse Trials and Dressage Show

at Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center

On September 12, 2015, they are Celebrating our 10th Anniversary of the Saddle Up for Roswell at Chestnut Ridge Equestrian Center 8 am to 4 pm.

Over the past 9 years, they have raised $118,514.

About 110 riders of all ages will compete in dressage, stadium jumping and cross country trials at the event as they raise funds in support of cancer research and patient care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Participants have collected pledges from the community in support of the event, and many riders will carry the names on their saddle pads of those they ride in honor or in memory of.

The family- and spectator-friendly event will also feature a basket raffle, T-shirt sales and a refreshment stand. All proceeds will support Roswell Park.

The competition begins at 8 am with different age divisions. In dressage, the horse is trained to ride in a specific pattern. Horses will have to clear jumps of 2 to 4 feet.

There is no admission charge. Saddle Up will have a refreshment stand and a tack sale for riding equipment, Pete’s Treats Ice Cream Truck and many other family fun activities.
