An anonymous Marilla couple purchased three award winning pigs at the Erie
County Fair and donated them to the Alden-Marilla Food Pantry. The pigs were raised and shown by Susie and Loretta Lippert attending Alden Central Schools, and Shannon LaDuca attending Iroquois Central. The three girls with the donors picked up the packaged pork and delivered the donation to the pantry. Each pig dressed out at 230 pounds giving a total amount of 690 pounds.
