With a 12-2 record for their season, Alden Volleyball was made 1st seed in their bracket for playoffs. The girls played Dunkirk on Friday, October 26th at Alden High School for their first round of playoffs. Alden dominated in the first 3 games and won their first playoff game of the season.
Emma Wlostowski led the game in aces, with 7, and also had 3 digs and 6 kills. Jenna Kersten also had an outstanding game setting, with 19 assists and 2 digs.
On Monday, October 29th (semifinals) Alden defeated Fredonia at Alden. Emma Wlostowski had 12 kills 2 aces; Jenna Kersten had 22 assists.
The next game is on Thurs., Nov. 1 at Daemen against Springville.
