Robert Bond’s Blackwater Railroad in Alden, along with 7 other member railroads of the WNY Garden Railway Society played host to 2 bus loads of Garden Railroad enthusiasts, from around the US and Germany, on Friday June 23rd.
Members of the Big Train Operators Club, were in Buffalo this year, for their 39th annual convention. Other activities for the week long convention included a tour of the Buffalo & Erie Country Botanical Gardens, a ride on the Arcade & Attica RR, a day trip to the Medina Railroad Museum, and a day trip to the Finger Lakes Live Steamers Club, outside of Geneva.
