At the Tuesday, March 24th work session of the Marilla Town Board, Environmental Attorney John Kolaga of the law firm of Damon and Morey, went over the latest version of the proposed Bio solids law. The new law is a result of community concerns that contaminants and other hazardous metals could be present if bio solids are introduced into the community either through storage or spreading on fields.

Along with the major changes, the group altered some wording and spelling which extended the meeting to three hours. Public hearing on April 9th. See the full story in the April 2nd issue of the Alden Advertiser.
