On Sat., Sept. 12th there will be a Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Walk in East Aurora. It starts at “Healthy Zone Rink” at 41 Riley St. Routs are 1 1/2 miles, 3 miles and 5 miles through scenic East Aurora.
Registration and free breakfast is at 8:30 am with the walk starting time for all routes at 10 am. A theme basket raffle will take place after the walk.
Proceeds will go to benefit the WNY Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Hospital. The Center is free and open to all WNY people. It offers hope and help to those facing the disease and helps families understand and caring. For more information bout the Resource Center call 845-4432. Last year they raised over $1 million dollars for the Resource Center.
The goal is to create a future where no one in the community has to deal with Breast Cancer alone. Join the group and help make a difference in the community.
