Alden natives “Butch” (Lynn) and Deanne (Dickson) Gedraitis were honored at the Power of a Wish Gala held on Saturday, March 23rd at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.
The Alden High School Graduates have served as Ambassadors of Make-A-Wish since 2008.
Butch and Deanne have fully embraced the organization’s mission, from supporting events to directly supporting wishes. The couple has donated over $150,000 to help make life-changing wishes come true for children with critical illnesses in the Western New York region. Their company, Diverse Technologies, was a Wish Hero Sponsor for the event this year.
Melissa Holmes, co-anchor of Daybreak at WGRZ TV in Buffalo, and Patrick Hammer, Chief Meteorologist at WGRZ were the Masters of Ceremonies.
Deanne is the daughter of Carol and Bob Dickson. “Butch” is the son of Gloria and Lynn Gedraitis.
