“The Lions Club has brought joy to many people in many ways,” wrote Paul Henry in the Alden Village Centennial Celebration Book, 1969. Alden Lions Club members like Henry made these words a reality for 50 years by offering needed services and donations to the people of Alden. The club disbanded last year as a result of a decline in memberships but its legacy of service will continue to be evident.
