For the first time since WWII, the Alden Advertiser was unable to publish a scheduled issue on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Driving bans and nearly 60 inches of snow to date made it impossible for our staff to report to work or our printer to deliver the completed newspaper to our offices. All copy from this week’s issue will be in the November 27th issue, which should reach most of our local readers by Wednesday, November 26th.
