Alden Advertiser won 3rd place in the New York Press Association’s “Better Newspaper Contest”, for best multi-advertiser page with the Softball 2015 Section VI Regional Champs center spread. Advertising was obtained by Bonnie Aston and Vikki G. Weisbeck, the page was designed by Bonnie Lee James. Photographers who contributed to the page were Rick Penny, Michelle Rutan, and the ACS Yearbook Staff. The award was presented to Publisher Leonard (Lee)Weisbeck at the NY Press Association Convention held in Saratoga Springs, NY on April 8 and 9, 2016.
