Residents Angered by Board’s Refusal to Approve Bio-Solids Law in Marilla

By Nancy Gish

A crowd of Marilla residents attending a second public hearing on a long awaited Bio Solids Law they expect will protect the town from chemicals in sludge whether stored or spread by Quasar Energy Corporation were shocked when four of the board members failed to respond to a second by Supervisor Earl Gingrich Jr. to approve the new law.

Residents exploded in anger with threats of voting the group out of office or by impeachment. See the entire story in the April 16th issue of the Alden Adveritser.
